Deciding to commit to the MCI Distance Learning course is a significant and serious undertaking.
There are lots of very personal reasons for beginning the course but whatever your reasons you do need to give serious thought to whether it’s right for you. We really hope it is.

Being a Montessori teacher is a responsibility, but it is also one of the most rewarding careers there is. Good Montessori teachers come from all walks of life, from school leavers to mainstream school teachers, artists to office workers, scientists to singers, graduates to grandmothers. It’s not so much what people have done that counts, as the qualities they bring to the classroom.
The MCI Distance Learning Course has 2 key requirements which students must satisfy:
1. All course materials are written entirely in English. It is an absolute requirement that any student wishing to undertake the course is comfortable reading, writing and studying in English. Please click HERE to view a sample of text from the Distance Learning Course. If you are NOT comfortable reading this sample, then unfortunately you do not meet the requirements for the course.
2. It is also essential that you have regular Internet and computer access, as email is the primary form of contact between yourself and your tutor.
